Raigarh,11 August 2025.In a heartfelt initiative to foster healthier communities, NTPC Lara, under its robust Community Development program, organized an Oral Health Check-Up Camp at Government School, Mahaloi, on August 11, 2025. The event focused on raising awareness about oral hygiene and providing accessible dental care to school children ensuring that healthy smiles lead to brighter futures.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Kalpana Prakash Tayade, Chief Medical Officer at NTPC Lara, who was joined by a dedicated team of dentists and medical staff.
Over the course of the day, 240 students underwent thorough oral examinations. The children also received interactive guidance on best brushing techniques, the role of diet in dental health, and the long-term impact of consistent hygiene habits. The atmosphere was both educational and empowering, transforming routine check-ups into memorable learning experiences.
To encourage continued dental care at home, NTPC Lara distributed dental care kits to all participating students including toothbrush, toothpaste, and tongue cleaner. This initiative will cover all nearby schools, which will cover almost one thousand two hundred students. These small but impactful tokens reinforced the message that oral health is a vital part of overall well-being.
