- Field Inspection and Review Meeting with Area Officials
Korba, August, 03 . SECL CMD Shri Harish Duhan, visited the Gevra Opencast Project to conduct an on-ground review of mining operations and interact with frontline teams today on sunday 03 August 2025.
During the visit, Shri Duhan inspected both departmental and contractual patches of the mine, assessing the overall production and operational performance.
He reviewed activities at the top bench involving 42 cubic meter Ganesh and Partha shovels operating in the E/F coal zone, and also took stock of coal exposure and the status of pumping operations in the Lower Kargali (LK) seam.
The CMD also visited outsourcing patch 522, observing excavation progress and coordination with departmental efforts.
Following the field inspection, a review meeting was held with all shift in-charges, production in-charges, section in-charges, excavation and E&M executives, along with other senior officials of the area. The discussions focused on improving production efficiency, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, and enhancing synergy between departmental and outsourced teams.
