KORBA, Oct 1 Kamla Nehru College hosted a major employment fair on Friday. Several willing applicants submitted their resumes to 12 different institutions.
As an important step towards placement of graduate and post graduate students, KN College hosted major employment fair which garnered participation from 12 different recruiters. These included Alert SGS Pvt Ltd, Raipur, Modern Group of Institutions, Korba, Manappuram Finance Ltd, Bandhan Bank, Shweta Nursing Home, Krishna Hospital, Gita Devi Memorial Hospital, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Sunlife Insurance, HDFC Bank, Anjana Furnitures and Online Gurukul. A large number of candidates applied for various positions. Some companies also had a preliminary interview for the candidates and declared the preliminary selection, while most companies will invite students for interview after sorting the resumes.
District Employment Officer said that the employment fair provided ample employment opportunities for candidates with different eligibilities. The candidates will be recruited at the positions of marketing executive, security supervisor, security guard, furniture carpenter, assistant professor, career advisor, field officer, office boy, sales executive, nursing staff, ICU staff, accountant, bank officer, house keeping, sweeper, data entry operator and others.
