Korba 05/SEP/ VEDANT SAMACHAR – DAV Public School SECL Korba celebrated Teacher’s Day with vedic hawan following the protocol of COVID-19. The program started with lighting the lamp and worship the portrait of the first vice president of India Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by the principal Shri Harish Kant Pathak and all the other staff of the school. In the next sequence the different teachers of the school presented melodious song and cultural program. The program included some sports events too. On this occasion the principal of the school honoured all the teaching and non teaching staff of the school by presenting gift to them. Addressing the teachers the principal said that teachers are the nation builders. They not only enlight their students’ future but also show new direction to the society. He motivated the teachers to inculcate the new advancement in the technology in their teaching process and throws the light on importance of changes brought by the nature. All the teachers were highly enthusiastic and participated wholeheartedly in the program. The vote of thanks was proposed by the senior most teacher of the school Mrs Amita Sharma. The program which was jointly organized by the CCA and celebration department of the school was successfully compered by the head of the Hindi department Mr Jay Prakash Gautam and the English teacher Mrs T. Mary Narasimham.
