KORBA, Jul 1 Regional Conference of Lions Club ‘Archita’ took place at Deendayal Hotel on 27th June. Chief Guest MJF Lion Jaisingh Agrawal and chairperson Regional Chairman Lion Ajay Dhanodiya begun the program by garlanding the portrait of Club Founder Lion Melvin Jones.
Lions Club Korba was awarded as the best club for the service works done by 13 clubs of the region. Lion Satyendra Vasan was awarded as the best president, Lion Meena Singh as best secretary and Lion Subhash Agrawal as best treasurer. Lioness Bhagwati Agrawal, Lioness Shobhna Soni, Lioness Shahnaz Sheikh and Lioness Madhu Pandey were awarded for their work as chairperson. Best Dress Award was given to Lioness Shobhna Soni and Lion MJF Lion Rajkumar Agrawal. Awards were given for Santawna Project, excellent work, permanent project, best region visit, best service award and best club. Lion Brijmohan Sharma, Lioness Shahnaz Sheikh, Lioness Kamyani Dubey and Lion Satyendra Vasan were awarded for RLLI Presentation. Important office bearers of the club were present on the stage and large number of members attended the ceremony.
