Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai listened to Mann Ki Baat with public representatives

Raipur 29 September 2024 // Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai along with cabinet ministers listened to Prime Minister’s 114th radio show Mann Ki Baat, at his residence on Sunday.

Quoting Prime Minister’s perspective aired in radio, Chief Minister said, “Through the radio show we came across that people in rural areas are contributing best of their ability to preserve their art, culture, traditions and invaluable heritage. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi proudly showcases these efforts to the nation and the world through his Mann Ki Baat program.” This initiative allows us to learn about various efforts and innovations taking place across the country and get inspired, he added.

On this occasion, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLA Smt Gomti Sai, MLA Shri Bhaiya Lal Rajwada, former Chairman of Youth Commission Shri Kamalchandra Bhanjdev, Padma Shri Sunil Jogi, Shri Anjay Shukla and other dignitaries were also present.

On the radio show – Mann Ki Baat program, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi mentioned range of topics – starting from his US visit – to referring people doing exemplary works in their respective fields. He appreciated Telangana based Shri K N Rajasekhar, who took a pledge to plant a tree every day after getting inspired by ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, Shri Ramjit Tudu’s efforts to save the Santhali language and the contribution of Madurai-based teacher Shubhashri to preserve medicinal plants.
Referring to the nature of jobs changing every day in modern times, he appealed to the youth associated with gaming animation, film making, poster making, bands and community radio to join the initiative ‘Create in India’ of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. Through this, people associated with these fields will be able to showcase their creativity globally. In order to promote talent and creativity for youth around 25 different challenges have been included under Create in India. Youth are urged to participate in this challenge, supported by professional organisations to resolve these issues.
