Kabirdham District Hospital gets radiologist through Chief Minister’s initiative, Deputy Chief Minister’s support

Presence of radiologist will facilitate timely and accurate diagnosis of patients’ conditions

Raipur 19 July 2024// With the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and the efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, a radiologist has been appointed at Kabirdham District Hospital. The Health Department has appointed Dr. V. Gopala Krishna, a radiologist, under the NHM (contract) for Kabirdham District Hospital, as per the specified conditions. An order has also been issued in this regard. The appointment of a radiologist in the district hospital will put an end to patients’ need to seek treatment elsewhere.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma has requested Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal to improve healthcare facilities and arrange specialist doctors at Kabirdham District Hospital.

The addition of a radiologist at the district hospital will expand healthcare services. Timely and accurate diagnosis of patients’ conditions will now be possible, enhancing the treatment process. With a local radiologist available, patients will no longer have to travel to bigger cities, saving both time and money. In emergencies, having a radiologist on hand enables immediate examinations and treatments, potentially saving lives.
