Dhamtari, January 11. During his visit to the Sihawa assembly, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached the helipad at Khisora in Magarlod today. From here, he went to Bhagat Baba, the center of faith in the village, to seek blessings for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.
Budhwa Bhagat Baba was a saint and ‘Siddh Purush’ who lived 250 years ago. The locals worship him as a deity. Villagers worship him before beginning any work or worship, and then they worship the other deities of the village. Any religious action is said to be incomplete without his presence. He is the village’s special deity. Following that, the Chief Minister paid a visit to Sheetla Maa and offered prayers.
On this occasion, Sihawa MLA and Vice President of Central Region Tribal Development Authority Dr. Lakshmi Dhruv, member of Bastar Development Authority Mr. Biresh Thakur, former MLA Dhamtari Mr. Gurmukh Singh Hora, and Mrs. Ambika Markam was present.
