Raipur, 2 January . On the first day of the winter session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly, the former member of the undivided Madhya Pradesh Assembly, the late Mr. Mangalram Usendi was given a tribute. The Assembly Chairman, Dr. Charandas Mahant, mentioned the death of the late Mr. Mangalram Usendi shortly after the start of the house proceedings. He paid tribute to Mr. Usendi while mentioning his personality and contributions. The Vidhansabha Chairman said that the late Mr. Usendi was elected from Kondagaon in 1990.
He was interested in social work, forestry, and sports. Mr. Mahant said that they lost an experienced politician after his demise. The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while giving his tribute to Mr. Mangalram Usendi, said that the latter was a senior tribal leader of the tribal society. He had an active interest in social work and made politics a medium of social service. While expressing his condolences to the bereaved family members, he prayed for the peace of the departed soul. The opposition leaders, Mr. Narayan Chandel, MLA Mr. Mohan Markam, and Mr. Brijmohan Aggrawal also paid their tributes to the late Mr. Usendi. The house observed a moment of silence in honor of the late Mr. Mangalram Usendi.
