Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Meets Goa Minister Shri Ramesh Tawadkar; Discusses Tribal Welfare and Sports Development

Raipur March 26, 2026. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met Goa’s Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Tribal Welfare Shri Ramesh Tawadkar at his residential office in Raipur on Thursday.

Chief Minister welcomed Shri Tawadkar, who is on a visit to the state, and presented him with a Bastar art memento along with local products from Jashpur.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed issues related to tribal welfare and the development of sports. Chief Minister said the state government is making continuous efforts to promote sports by developing modern infrastructure and creating opportunities for talented athletes.

He also noted that hosting the country’s first Khelo India Tribal Games in Chhattisgarh is a matter of pride for the state. The event will provide a national platform to tribal athletes and strengthen their cultural identity and confidence.

Meanwhile, Shri Tawadkar is leading a delegation from Goa, which is in Chhattisgarh to take part in the tribal games. Along with participating in the event, the delegation will visit places such as Chhattisgarh Muktangan and the Tribal Museum to learn about the state’s tribal culture and heritage.
