Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attends Holi Milan Samaroh in Dharsiwa
Raipur, March 2, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday attended a Holi Milan Samaroh organised by MLA Shri Anuj Sharma in the Dharsiwa Assembly constituency and shared festive greetings with residents. Thanking Shri Sharma for the invitation, he extended warm wishes to all.
“Holi is not merely a festival of colours but a celebration of love, harmony and brotherhood that inspires people to forget differences and move forward together,” said Shri Sai.
Referring to Holika as a symbol of evil, he said its burning signifies embracing goodness, positivity and prosperity, and collectively advancing Chhattisgarh on the path of development.
Noting that Holi will be celebrated on March 4 this year, he said enthusiasm is already visible, especially after funds were recently transferred to farmers’ accounts under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, boosting their morale and adding to the festive spirit. Holi, he said, also strengthens social and familial bonds, fostering trust and warmth in society.
MLA Shri Anuj Sharma said, “The assistance credited to farmers’ accounts has created a joyful atmosphere, with celebrations expected to be more spirited this year.” He presented traditional ‘phag’ songs at the event, adding to the festive mood.
MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal conveyed his greetings and wished prosperity and happiness to all. MLAs Shri Motilal Sahu and Shri Purandar Mishra, Film Development Corporation chairperson Ms Mona Sen and several other public representatives and dignitaries were present.
