Korba, 01 March. Shri N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical – Operations), visited Korba Area today and conducted a comprehensive review of key operational units including Manikpur Mine, Saraipali Mine, Ambika OC Mine, and the Singhali site — the designated implementation location for the Paste Fill Project.
During the visit, he assessed the status of coal production, productivity parameters, equipment deployment, overburden management, and dispatch performance across the mines. Detailed discussions were held with project teams to evaluate current output levels and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency in the remaining days of the financial year.

At the Singhali site, he reviewed the progress and implementation status of the Paste Fill Project. Emphasizing its strategic importance for sustainable underground mining and improved resource recovery, he directed the concerned teams to ensure timely execution and adherence to technical milestones.

Stressing the need to maximize production, he underscored optimal utilization of available capacities, improved coordination between production and dispatch units, and focused monitoring to achieve year-end targets. He also reiterated that safety, quality standards, and environmental compliance must remain integral to all operational activities.
