  • Chief Minister Meets Ayodhya Pilgrims, Calls It True Public Service

Raipur, February 17, 2026// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, during his visit to Koriya district, met devotees at the Jhumka Reservoir who had recently returned from a pilgrimage to Ayodhya Dham under the ‘Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana’.

Chief Minister interacted with the pilgrims, enquired about their well-being, and listened to their experiences during the visit. The devotees informed him that with the support of Chhattisgarh government, they were able to visit Ayodhya free of cost. They said the arrangements ensured that the journey was comfortable and memorable.

Several devotees shared that travelling from their remote villages to Ayodhya had earlier been difficult, but the government’s initiative had made the pilgrimage possible. As a mark of gratitude, they presented Shri Sai with an oil painting titled ‘Hamare Ram.’

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said Lord Shri Ram is regarded as the ‘Bhancha (nephew) of Chhattisgarh’, and facilitating his darshan for the people of the state is a matter of privilege for the government. He added that ensuring welfare schemes reach citizens in remote areas is the true spirit of public service, and the state government remains firmly committed to that objective.
